On August 28, 2025, E.C.P. Holdings (2014) Ltd. ("Holdings"), a meat packing plant and provincially licensed abattoir, was placed in interim receivership by Order of the Court of King's Bench of Alberta. G. Chan & Associates Inc. was appointed Interim Receiver.

On September 26, 2025, Holdings and its wholly owned subsidiary, Edmonton Custom Packers Ltd. were placed in receivership by Order of the Court. G. Chan & Associates Inc. was appointed Receiver Manager.

Effect Therapy Lethbridge South Ltd.

On August 20, 2025, Effect Therapy Lethbridge South Ltd. ("ETLS"), an integrated wellness and holistic health centre, filed an assignment in bankruptcy. G. Chan & Associates Inc. was appointed Licensed Insolvency Trustee in the bankruptcy.

Forden Energy Inc. and 2150865 Alberta Ltd., related companies which hold and operate oil and gas working interests in Alberta, each filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal under s. 50.4 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act on August 17, 2025, and October 1, 2025, respectively. G. Chan & Associates Inc. was appointed Proposal Trustee in both proceedings.

Healy Precision Construction Ltd.

On July 31, 2025, Healy Precision Construction Ltd., a precision grading and site services contractor, filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal pursuant to s. 50.4 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. G. Chan & Associates Inc. was appointed Proposal Trustee.

Morning Glory Daycare Ltd.

On November 21, 2025, Morning Glory Daycare Ltd., an operator of a daycare and out of school childcare program, filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal pursuant to s. 50.4 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. G. Chan & Associates Inc. was appointed Proposal Trustee.
